We're on the hunt for an experienced and dynamic Permanent Superintendent to join our team. This role is specifically tailored to individuals with a strong background in the construction industry, particularly in the Commercial/Multi-Family-High Rise sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in concrete, concrete post-tension decks, post-tension, high rise multi-family, and commercial projects from the ground up. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Superintendent, you will be at the forefront of our construction projects, ensuring that all aspects are executed to the highest standard. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and ensure that work is carried out in line with company standards, guidelines, and goals.
2. Managing the daily operations on the construction site and control the short-term schedule, including making sure all trades and subcontractors work well together.
3. Ensuring safety measures are adhered to at all times and maintaining an environment that prioritizes health and safety.
4. Coordinating and overseeing all work on site, including the management of vendors and trades, and ensuring quality control in line with company standards and project specifications.
5. Managing the project budget and ensure all work is carried out within the set costs.
6. Regularly communicating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring all parties are informed of progress and issues that arise.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, specifically with Commercial/Multi-Family-High Rise projects.
2. Proven experience working with concrete, concrete post-tension decks, post-tension, high rise multi-family, and commercial projects from the ground up.
3. Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of overseeing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey information to a variety of stakeholders.
5. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6. A commitment to health and safety, with a proven track record of maintaining safe work environments.
7. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.
