Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Superintendent for our Healthcare-Commercial TI division in the Construction industry. This is a permanent role designed for a professional who is passionate about overseeing and managing all aspects of healthcare-related construction projects. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in education, retail, restaurant, ground-up, renovation, Tenant Improvement (TI), and medical offices.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing project development from initiation to closure.
2. Ensure all project goals and objectives are achieved within the defined scope, quality, time, and cost constraints.
3. Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors, maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
4. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
5. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis, ensuring effective communication between all parties.
6. Manage the planning and execution of tenant improvements (TI), renovations, and ground-up construction.
7. Apply knowledge of medical office construction to ensure projects meet all regulatory and compliance requirements.
8. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to building codes and safety regulations.
9. Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
10. Track project milestones and deliverables, providing regular status reports to management.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, specifically in healthcare-commercial TI.
2. Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing projects in education, retail, restaurant, ground-up, renovation, TI, and medical offices.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
5. Ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team to achieve project goals.
6. Proficient in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
7. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
8. Ability to read and understand construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
