We are seeking a highly skilled, dedicated, and results-driven Superintendent with a strong background in design-build projects in the construction industry. This is a unique opportunity to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in overseeing the successful completion of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in site management and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
As a Superintendent, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all phases of the construction project from initial planning to completion.
2. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists to create and implement design plans.
3. Managing and supervising on-site construction teams to ensure work is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with safety regulations.
4. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
5. Resolving any on-site issues or disputes in a timely and professional manner.
6. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports and forecasts.
7. Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
8. Implementing and managing detailed project schedules and work plans.
9. Providing on-site leadership and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
For this role, we require the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Superintendent role within the construction industry, with a specific focus on design-build projects.
2. Proven experience in site management, including managing teams, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing project schedules and budgets.
3. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
4. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
7. A proven track record of successfully completing projects to a high standard, on time and within budget.
8. Proficient in construction management software packages.
9. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred.
10. A commitment to adhering to all safety standards and promoting a safe work environment for all staff.
