Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Superintendent-Drilling Engineering to join our growing team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading engineering firm, providing expertise in ground drilling and exploration projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all drilling operations, ensuring safety standards are met, and managing the technical aspects of drilling projects. This role involves significant decision-making responsibilities and requires a high level of technical knowledge in drilling engineering, water exploration, and ground exploration.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute drilling projects, including water and ground exploration.
• Oversee the design and implementation of drilling plans and procedures, ensuring they comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise drilling personnel and contractors, providing guidance and technical expertise as needed.
• Collaborate with geologists and other engineering professionals to determine drilling methods, select drilling equipment, and develop drilling programs.
• Evaluate drilling performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize operations.
• Monitor drilling progress, analyze results, and produce detailed reports for management.
• Stay updated with the latest drilling technologies and industry trends, and implement best practices in drilling operations.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a superintendent or similar role in the drilling industry.
• Proven experience in water exploration and ground exploration.
• Strong technical knowledge of drilling engineering, including drilling methods, equipment, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and solve complex problems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in using drilling software and other relevant computer applications.
• Ability to work in challenging environments and adapt to changing conditions.
• Commitment to safety and environmental protection.
• Professional certification in drilling engineering or a related field would be an advantage.
