Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations at construction sites to ensure smooth progress.
  • Enforce safety, compliance, and quality standards throughout the project.
  • Maintain clear communication with project team members regarding progress and updates.
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure efficient site organization.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to plan and execute project tasks effectively.
  • Work with the project team to address and resolve onsite construction challenges.
  • Inspect work to confirm it meets specifications and quality standards.
  • Schedule and coordinate all AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) and third-party inspections.
  • Address designer/consultant observation reports, correction notices, and punch lists promptly.
  • Compile daily logs to report on progress, materials, labor, and equipment, adjusting schedules as necessary.
  • Perform additional job site management tasks as assigned to support project success.
  • This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, safety-conscious, and driven to deliver successful project outcomes.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field of study
  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent supervising project teams
  • Experience with public works projects (with ground-up project experience on projects in the $10+ MIL range)
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower, etc.
  • Proficient at reading plans and specifications for all trades.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, project management, and scheduling software (Procore, MS Project or similar)
