We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Superintendent with a strong background in Healthcare Construction. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of all facets of the construction process, including Field Operations, Ground Up Construction, Renovations, Tenant Improvement (TI), Healthcare Tenant Improvement, final completion, and closeout. Occupied Space experience needed! This role will require an individual who is a natural leader, capable of overseeing multiple projects and teams, and ensuring all operations are executed to the highest standard. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to join a well-established organization in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing construction activities from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
2. Lead and manage construction teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
3. Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project plans and specifications are accurately executed.
4. Implement and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and permits, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
5. Conduct regular site inspections to assess the quality of work, identify potential issues, and implement necessary solutions.
6. Manage Tenant Improvement (TI) and Healthcare Tenant Improvement projects, ensuring all renovations and improvements meet the specific needs of healthcare facilities.
7. Oversee the final completion and closeout process, ensuring all project requirements have been met and all necessary documentation is completed and submitted.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role within the construction industry, specifically in healthcare construction. Occupied Space Experience!
2. Proven experience in Field Operations, Ground Up Construction, Renovations, TI, Tenant Improvement, Healthcare Tenant Improvement, final completion, and closeout.
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
6. Thorough knowledge of construction regulations and standards, with a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of safety and quality.
7. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field would be considered an asset.
