We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Superintendent for our Multi-Family Construction division. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing multi-family and multi family 375 units construction projects. This role requires a dynamic individual who is capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and has a keen eye for detail. As a Permanent Superintendent, you will be responsible for the oversight of all stages of construction, from initial planning to completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

As a Permanent Superintendent, you will be responsible for the oversight of all stages of construction, from initial planning to completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing multiple projects from initial conception through completion.
- Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and safely.
- Review and understand all contract documents, plans, specifications and applicable codes for assigned projects.
- Schedule all site activities, ensuring that projects stay on track and within budget.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications, building codes and safety regulations.
- Manage communication between all parties involved in the project including architects, engineers, laborers, subcontractors and clients.
- Resolve any problems that may arise during construction, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.
- Lead project meetings, providing regular updates on project status and progress.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all staff and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with specific experience in multi-family and single-family projects.
- Advanced Project Management (APM) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, building codes and safety regulations.
- Proficient in the use of construction management software.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
