Superintendent- Public Works Construction Projects

For over 30 years, our multi-sector family-owned and operated general contracting firm has been a trusted leader in the public works space. We have successfully completed over $1BIL in projects ranging from commercial, public work, multifamily, & more. Our firm understands the growing demands in the construction industry but has strongly emphasized the importance of collaboration, team building, and our commitment to achieving superior quality! As our backlog of work is growing, we are looking for a Superintendent to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Participate in construction scheduling, and project coordination, as well as making/gathering scopes and project schedules for subcontractors
• Consistently communicate with subcontractors and team members regarding scheduling, safety, quality, performance standards and construction methods; transparency is key
• Inform the project manager on a daily basis regarding the process, plans, and problems that could affect costs and/or schedules
• Thorough understanding of all project specifications and the contract
• Ensure that subcontract work meets quality requirements set by the owners and complies with municipality standards/requirements
• Carry out any additional responsibilities required by the project manager

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (any additional experience a plus)
• 5+ years of construction experience under a General Contractor
• 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent running projects
• Proficiency in utilizing construction management software, including CMiC and/or Procore, or similar project scheduling and management software
