Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic, highly experienced Permanent Superintendent for Structure Healthcare Construction. This is a unique opportunity to join a team of professionals who are passionate about construction, driven by the purpose of creating remarkable healthcare facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of ground-up construction projects, from initial planning to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Supervise on-site contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality standards and timeframes are met.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Review work progress daily and provide regular progress reports to management.
• Ensure all necessary permits and legal paperwork are in place before construction begins.
• Manage field operations, including logistics, materials, and personnel.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
• Implement and manage quality control programs.
• Resolve any problems that may arise during construction.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on healthcare facilities construction.
• Proven experience in ground-up construction and field operations.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
• Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a diverse team of professionals and tradespeople.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Solid understanding of construction health and safety regulations.
• Proficient in construction software programs.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Certifications in construction management and health and safety may be advantageous.
