Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of water and wastewater construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
2. Manage and coordinate with project team members, subcontractors, and suppliers.
3. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards related to water and wastewater systems.
4. Develop and implement project schedules, plans, and objectives.
5. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any issues or delays and implementing solutions.
6. Ensure the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained at all times.
7. Coordinate with municipal authorities and other stakeholders as required.
8. Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
9. Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
10. Handle any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, specifically in water/wastewater construction.
2. In-depth knowledge of municipal water, potable water, water distribution, sanitary sewer, and wastewater collection systems.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from start to finish.
4. Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations and standards related to water and wastewater systems.
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
6. Ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
8. Proficient in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
9. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
10. Relevant certifications in water/wastewater management or construction management are a plus.
