We are looking for a strong Superintendent to come on board and help with our current and future project portfolio. This person would need to have wood frame experience to be considered.

We are in need of a Superintendent with a proven track record in wood frame construction. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced construction company where your expertise will be valued and utilized to its fullest. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our projects, from initial planning to completion. You will be the driving force behind our projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle, including conception, design, construction, and completion.
2. Coordinating and managing all on-site activities, including subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
3. Ensuring that all construction activities comply with building regulations and safety laws.
4. Developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met.
5. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality of workmanship.
6. Resolving any on-site issues or disputes, ensuring minimal impact on project timeline and budget.
7. Communicating regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, keeping them informed of progress and addressing any concerns.
8. Implementing and enforcing site safety protocols, ensuring a safe and secure work environment for all staff and contractors.
9. Continually reviewing and improving construction processes and techniques to increase efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction as an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent, specifically working on wood frame projects in Multifamily or Senior Living.
2. Extensive knowledge of wood frame construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
3. Proven experience in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and contract negotiation.
4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
7. A thorough understanding of construction safety regulations and laws.
8. Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
9. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, without compromising on safety or quality.
