Superintendent
Lead Field Operations | Ensure Safety, Quality & Delivery
As a Superintendent, you’ll lead field operations to deliver high-quality construction projects on time and within budget. You’ll be responsible for managing both self-performed and subcontracted work, upholding safety and quality standards, and building strong relationships with teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Manage on-site construction activities for full projects or specific scopes/trades
Ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards
Champion a safety-first culture by enforcing compliance with company and regulatory safety practices
Develop and maintain site logistics plans, work sequencing, and resource tracking
Lead project scheduling and monitor critical path milestones
Foster and mentor high-performing field teams
Communicate clearly with internal teams, clients, and trade partners
Maintain professionalism and uphold company values in all interactions
Interpret and enforce contract requirements, subcontracts, and vendor agreements
Participate in cost tracking, staff planning, and project reporting
Oversee project close-out, punch lists, and turnover activities
Resolve challenges proactively with strong problem-solving skills
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
7+ years of experience on large-scale commercial construction projects
Proven track record managing field operations from groundbreaking to turnover
At least 2 years of team leadership experience
Deep knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and field coordination
Strong communication skills across all project levels
Working knowledge of OSHA and other safety/building regulations
Demonstrated alignment with leadership traits such as accountability, adaptability, innovation, and team-building
Preferred Skills
Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, FieldWire, Bluebeam, Primavera P6)
