currently seeking a full-time Site Superintendent (SUP) to oversee on-site construction and delivery of both new construction and renovation projects ranging from $1 - $15+ million in the Central Illinois Marketplace.. The SUP is responsible for the day-to-day on-site management of the project, including scheduling, quality, and safety. The SUP will support and work with the Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, operations, finance, and the estimating staff in the review of project plans. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, possess strong communication/interpersonal skills and be confident in his/her abilities.

Supervise all on-site activity.
Coordinate work on projects with foreman and PM to be completed on, or ahead of contract schedule.
Assist in planning and maintaining jobsite logistics, security, and safety.
Manage quality assurance program to comply with project specifications and company policies.
Maintain positive working relationships with Owners and subcontractors.
Enforce company safety policy & culture on the jobsite.
Ensure safety manual is on site.
Ensure appropriate signage is in place in job trailers and information for nearest emergency health facility is posted in job trailer.
Review with foreman and monitor that proper housekeeping on site to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Review construction documents for constructability and construction sequence once issued by Owner.
Coordinate timely and accurate job-site layout and controls.
Confirm that all work placed complies with specifications, quality standards and contract.
Perform pre-punch lists prior to scheduled walk through with Owner.
Assist PM in development of the project schedule in accordance with the Contract Documents.
· Oversee the schedule of materials, deliveries, subcontractors, hoisting, inspections, and company personnel to meet the project schedule.
· Monitor progress against the approved schedule and take action to ensure that the project proceeds on the established schedule.
Attend the job start meeting and follow up that field is getting all the answers they need
· Coordinate jobsite logistic plan with PM and Owner
· Verify jobsite security to minimize vandalism, theft, property damage, or loss
· Review and understand scope of work and ensure the same from the subcontractors
· Ensure subcontractors are receiving and reviewing copies of shop drawings and submittals
Ensure punch list items are completed
Maintain a set of redline drawings for preparation of as builds.
Follow up that warranty issues are being taken care of
Attend project closeout meeting

Job Details
2-5 Years’ experience as a superintendent or associated responsibilities, preferred.
Strong experience in the following construction types: Hospital, Industrial, Commercial, Academic Institutions, JOC, and Parks & Recreation.
Ground up experience a plus.
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Project, and Procore.
Good time management skills.
Solid written and oral communication skills
Excellent communication skills
Dedication to the AGAE team.
