Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Superintendent to join our dynamic team. As a Superintendent, you will be at the heart of our construction projects, overseeing all operations from inception to completion. You will be responsible for managing subcontractors, ensuring work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule, and maintaining open communication with all stakeholders. This role requires a candidate with a deep understanding of the construction industry, particularly in concrete and structural work, and a proven track record of handling projects valued at $10 million and up.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise all construction activities, ensuring all work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.
• Maintain continual open communication with the design team, Project Manager, client, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate and oversee all work on site, including scheduling and managing subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure quality standards are met and safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Manage project schedules, identifying and solving problems to prevent delays.
• Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to construction schedules.
• Document all project activities and report progress to stakeholders regularly.
• Handle any onsite issues or emergencies with professionalism and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Superintendent role in the construction industry.
• Proven experience managing construction projects valued at $10 million and up.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of concrete and structural work.
• Proficiency in Autodesk and Bluebeam preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
• Must possess a valid, state-issued driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
