Requirements
10 years of experience on construction projects in a superintendent role; including managing multiple projects
Demonstrate proficiency and understanding of the management of site logistics and contract operations on tight urban sites Knowledge of BlueBeam, Outlook, Excel and Word
Must be construction-document and drawing literate, with knowledge of all phases of horizontal construction
Responsibilities
Supervision of the actual physical construction of multiple projects in strict accordance with the contract documents
Maintenance and planning of reports, work-arounds, shutdowns and tie-ins
Enforcement of safety and quality-control policies
Verification of safety compliance with all trades
Direction and day-to-day coordination of sub-contractors to ensure they turn out high-quality work that meets the approved project schedule
Maintenance of satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors and vendors and the ability to work in a team environment with Project Managers, Foremen and Superintendents
