As a Super, your supervisory responsibility includes Hiring, Training & Mentoring employees, who you will then plan, assign and delegate work to. Projects will be focused on Big-Box, Ground Up construction of Warehouses and Distribution Centers for many different confidential clients.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Superintendent to join our team. This role is instrumental in overseeing the daily operations of our construction projects, ensuring we deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of construction processes, and a proven track record in managing large-scale projects.

Responsibilities:

As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycles, from initial planning to completion.
2. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors.
3. Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
4. Developing and managing detailed project schedules and work plans.
5. Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
6. Reviewing the work progress daily and providing regular status reports to stakeholders.
7. Implementing comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients and other staff members.
8. Ensuring adherence to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other compliance requirements.
9. Managing and mitigating project risks and issues.
10. Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Superintendent position should possess the following:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role.
3. In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
4. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
5. Excellent knowledge of construction project management software such as Procore or similar.
6. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
7. Strong leadership and team building abilities.
8. Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
9. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
