We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Superintendent with a robust background in the construction industry, specifically in hospital construction. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a proven track record in managing large-scale projects, handling complex tasks, and leading a diverse workforce. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing all phases of the construction process, ensuring that specifications and standards are met.
2. Coordinating and supervising construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
3. Ensuring all safety protocols and quality control measures are adhered to, minimizing the risk of on-site accidents.
4. Reviewing and understanding project blueprints, plans, and specifications, and ensuring that the project is built according to design.
5. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, identifying any potential issues or delays and taking corrective action.
6. Managing and resolving any conflicts or disputes that arise during the construction process.
7. Communicating regularly with project stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, and addressing any concerns or queries.
8. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure the project is executed effectively.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry, preferably in hospital construction.
2. A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
3. Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety protocols.
5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse workforce.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in using construction management software.
9. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to different job sites as required.
