We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Superintendent to join our team. This pivotal role is perfect for an individual who is passionate about the engineering industry and has a proven track record in construction management. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensure job site safety, maintain quality control and assurance, and provide detailed progress reporting. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role and a commitment to excellence and high standards.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensure job site safety, maintain quality control and assurance, and provide detailed progress reporting. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role and a commitment to excellence and high standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
- Meet contractual conditions of performance.
- Review the work progress on a daily basis.
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
- Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are in place.
- Implement and maintain strict on-site safety protocols and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
- Proven working experience in construction management.
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
- Familiarity with construction management software packages.
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Familiarity with construction/ project management software.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- A team player with leadership abilities.
