Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process. This includes:

1. Managing subcontractors: You will be responsible for coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project schedules, and ensuring the quality of their work meets our high standards.

2. Scheduling: You will create and manage the project schedule, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.

3. OSHPD Compliance: You will ensure all construction activities comply with the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) regulations.

4. Blueprint Reading: You will interpret and execute plans from blueprints, ensuring all construction is carried out according to design specifications.

5. Cost Control: You will manage project budget and control costs to ensure the project stays within budget.

6. Risk Management: You will identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.

7. Quality Control: You will oversee all aspects of quality control, ensuring the final product meets our high standards and client expectations.

8. Budgeting: You will assist in developing project budgets and ensure that all work is carried out within these financial parameters.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this exciting role, you will need to have:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.

2. Proven experience managing subcontractors, scheduling, and cost control.

3. Familiarity with OSHPD regulations and a proven track record of ensuring compliance.

4. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans and specifications.

5. Strong skills in construction management, risk management, quality control, and budgeting.

6. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate and oversee a team of subcontractors.

7. The ability to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

8. A keen eye for detail, ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained.

9. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field is preferred.
