Job Details
Location: Based in the Boston or greater New England area, with travel to job sites throughout the region and occasional trips to Pennsylvania. (Note: While there’s no vehicle allowance, mileage reimbursement is provided for interstate travel.)
Target Compensation: $115K–$130K+ (commensurate with experience)
What You’ll Do:
As Superintendent, you’ll serve as the boots-on-the-ground leader, reporting to the Project Manager and owning all aspects of on-site execution. You’ll orchestrate the field team and subcontractors with precision, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget—while upholding the highest standards of craftsmanship and compliance.
Core Responsibilities Include:
Create and implement site logistics strategies and field procedures to drive efficiency.
Supervise and synchronize subcontractors and trades to ensure seamless execution.
Collaborate closely with the engineering, estimating, and PM teams to align field work with plans and specs.
Represent the job site in weekly project meetings, driving swift issue resolution and proactive communication.
Maintain daily reports and Two-Week Lookaheads to keep stakeholders aligned and accountable.
Manage and enforce document control standards to ensure field work mirrors approved drawings.
Champion job site safety: develop site-specific safety plans, lead toolbox talks, and ensure full OSHA and regulatory compliance.
Conduct and lead weekly field leadership meetings to align trades and boost productivity.
Identify and mitigate risk with proactive, policy-driven solutions.
Who You Are:
A seasoned pro with 5–10 years of construction field experience—ideally in modular, healthcare, or commercial construction.
Hold a Massachusetts CSL (or actively pursuing it).
Familiar with OSHA 10/30/40, ASHE, SST Card, and Infectious Disease Control protocols.
Technologically fluent, especially in Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction scheduling tools.
An organized, safety-focused leader with a sharp eye for detail and a knack for driving project momentum.
Willing and able to travel as needed.
Education:
High School diploma required; Vocational training or a relevant college degree is a strong plus.
