We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Supplier Performance Lead to join our team in the Engineering industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing our supplier performance, ensuring the highest level of quality, cost efficiency, and delivery for our products. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a strong background in DFARS, Suppliers, Aerospace, and Manufacturing to contribute to our ongoing success and growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategies for supplier performance management, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
2. Evaluate and monitor supplier performance metrics, including quality, cost, delivery, and service.
3. Lead supplier performance reviews, identify areas of improvement, and drive corrective actions.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
5. Ensure compliance with DFARS and other relevant regulations in all supplier-related activities.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
7. Manage risk in the supply chain, implementing measures to mitigate potential issues.
8. Drive initiatives to improve supplier performance, including training, process improvements, and technology implementation.
9. Regularly report on supplier performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier performance management, preferably in the Aerospace and Manufacturing industries.
3. In-depth knowledge of DFARS and other relevant regulations.
4. Proven track record in managing supplier performance, with demonstrable results in improving quality, cost, and delivery.
5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.
7. Proficient in using supplier performance management software and tools.
8. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
