Our company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Supply Chain Manager to join our Accounting and Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive the strategic direction and operational execution of our supply chain management. The successful candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce, logistics, importing, exporting, and inventory turns. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process, including procurement, storage, distribution, and customer service.
2. Developing and implementing supply chain strategies that increase efficiency and speed, reduce cost, and improve customer satisfaction.
3. Collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to understand demand forecast drivers.
4. Managing and monitoring vendor's qualification and performance to ensure they meet company's requirements.
5. Managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure adequate supply without excessive oversupply.
6. Implementing new technologies and staying alert to new trends and developments in the supply chain industry.
7. Ensuring all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
8. Implementing effective logistics strategies, managing shipping, receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
9. Complying with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Supply Chain Manager position will have:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or relevant field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a similar role in the Accounting + Finance industry.
3. Proven experience in managing and optimizing supply chains in an e-commerce environment.
4. Extensive knowledge of importing, exporting, and inventory turns.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
7. Proficient in supply chain management software (such as SAP MM, AP Modules, SAP Plant Maintenance, etc.).
8. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
9. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies that align with business goals.
10. Strong understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
