This is a pivotal role in our manufacturing industry, where you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy to maximize efficiency and productivity. You will be involved in every aspect of the business process - from initial sourcing and procurement of materials, through production planning, inventory control, and distribution. This role requires a strategic thinker with a firm grasp on all aspects of supply chain management, including inventory management, strategic planning, materials management, vendor management, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that increase efficiency and productivity
- Lead the planning and execution of supply chain processes, including procurement, material delivery, production scheduling, inventory control, and shipping
- Oversee the management of vendor relationships, ensuring high standards of quality, delivery, and cost
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement in the supply chain process
- Manage and optimize inventory levels in line with production needs and business targets
- Collaborate with other departments to identify vulnerabilities and close operational gaps
- Forecast demand and ensure the timely and successful delivery of goods to customers
- Prepare and present detailed reports and analytics to senior management on supply chain performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in supply chain management in the manufacturing industry
- Proven experience in inventory management, strategic planning, materials management, vendor management, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and inventory management systems
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proactive, with a keen eye for detail and a drive for continuous improvement
