Our medical facility is seeking a Permanent Perioperative Registered Nurse Circulator to join our team. As a Circulator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care during their surgical procedures. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the perioperative services, including the preparation, monitoring, and recovery of patients undergoing orthopedic and neurological surgeries. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits packages.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all aspects of perioperative services, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure that they are stable throughout the surgical procedure.
• Assist with the administration of anesthesia and other medications as needed.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room and ensure that all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families during the surgical process.
• Document all aspects of the surgical procedure in the patient's medical record.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with a current license to practice in the state of employment.
• 2+ years of experience as a Circulator in perioperative services, preferably with experience in orthopedic and neurological surgeries.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and instruments.
• Ability to maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
