As a Surgical PA, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring all surgical protocols and standards are adhered to.
- Performing patient evaluations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing comprehensive treatment plans.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Active NY state license
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a surgical setting, with significant exposure to general surgery and surgical assisting.
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Exceptional technical skills, including suturing, wound care, and surgical instrument handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, decision-making skills, and attention to detail.
- The ability to work in high-stress environments and maintain composure under pressure.
