Responsibilities:
As a Survey Project Manager, you will:
1. Manage and coordinate all aspects of land surveying projects, including planning, organizing, and executing all surveying tasks.
2. Supervise and guide survey teams, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and within project timelines.
3. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
4. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, and schedules.
5. Utilize advanced surveying technology and software to ensure accurate and efficient data collection and analysis.
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety protocols.
7. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, ensuring all projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
8. Provide technical expertise and support to team members and stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A Professional Land Surveyor License.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying and project management within the construction industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and technology.
4. Proven experience in managing large-scale surveying projects, from initial planning to final execution.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
8. Proficiency in using surveying software and technology.
9. A commitment to health and safety, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
10. A degree in surveying, engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.
