We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Systems Network Administrator to join our innovative manufacturing team. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and troubleshooting of our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware, along with the ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices. Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, manage and troubleshoot the organization's network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and other devices to ensure optimal network performance.
2. Monitor network performance and integrity, proactively identifying and resolving any issues.
3. Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
4. Manage and administer the company's O365 environment.
5. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of network topology, equipment, and configuration.
6. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement network security measures that protect sensitive data.
7. Utilize Power BI to analyze network data and create insightful reports to aid in decision-making.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to users, and provide training as needed.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and innovations to ensure the network infrastructure meets current standards and can support future growth.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
3. Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, Network Monitoring, O365, VPN, Routing and Switching.
4. In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF).
5. Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS).
6. Professional certification (e.g. CCNA, CCNP) is a plus.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
10. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
