Our dynamic engineering firm is seeking a seasoned SyteLine Developer to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to innovative engineering solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, developing, and implementing applications and systems using SyteLine ERP. The role requires a deep understanding of VB.NET, T-SQL, HTML, and JavaScript. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a similar role and a proven track record of success.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, maintain, and enhance SyteLine ERP applications and other business applications using VB.NET, T-SQL, HTML, and JavaScript.
2. Analyze user requirements and convert them into design documents.
3. Develop test plans, prepare test data, test, and document results.
4. Create and maintain documentation for code and system processes.
5. Work closely with other team members to integrate systems and solutions.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and bugs.
7. Provide technical support and training to end-users.
8. Work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on business needs.
9. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in technology to ensure the company's technology infrastructure is at the forefront.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in SyteLine development or a similar role.
3. Proficiency in VB.NET, T-SQL, HTML, and JavaScript.
4. Experience with SyteLine ERP system, including customization, configuration, and implementation.
5. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
9. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
10. A commitment to continuous professional development.
11. Knowledge of the engineering industry would be a plus.
