Job Details
The Tax Accountant will work together alongside the Tax Manager. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls and ensure quality control over tax reporting.
Prepare, Review, & File taxes including but not limited to
Sales Tax (3rd Party Filer)
Personal Property Tax
Business & Occupation Tax
Payroll Tax (3rd Party Filer)
Assist with supporting documents for Income and Franchise Taxes (Federal & State)
Facilitate and support State Audits for Sales Taxes and Personal Property taxes
Monthly Tax Account Reconciliations
Provide other departments with pertinent Gross Receipts information
Maintain Sales Tax Matrix by state by work type
Special Projects upon request
