Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated Permanent Tax Accountant to join our team in the Finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex tax returns for corporate and public clients, as well as individual taxes and multi-state returns. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in the tax accounting field.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review federal and state corporate tax returns for a variety of clients
  • Manage complex tax returns for public clients
  • Prepare and review individual tax returns
  • Prepare and review multi-state tax returns
  • Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
  • Research and analyze tax laws and regulations
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary tax information and answer any questions
  • Assist with tax audits and appeals

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA certification preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in tax accounting
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax returns and multi-state returns
  • Experience with complex tax returns for public clients
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax preparation software
