Tax & Accounting Manager

We are a boutique tax firm that is currently looking to expand our team of tax preparers.
Although our workplace is informal, it moves quickly, so maintaining a cool, upbeat, and professional manner is essential. To meet the multiple demands and numerous changes that occur every day, people must demonstrate a commitment to learn, grow, and adapt.

Tax & Accounting Manager wanted for boutique CPA firm in Irvine that works closely with their clients to provide both tax returns and accounting for their business clients, along with individual tax returns. The right person will have a background in business and individual tax returns as well as a good understanding of bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll.
Requirements include the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting, CPA is a plus
• Prior experience in preparing tax returns (Lacerte preferred),
• Experience in preparing and reviewing bookkeeping accounts, be familiar with adjusting journal entries and monthly financial reporting.
• Prior experience overseeing other staff members
• Excellent communication skills
• Prior experience in a CPA firm
