- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, and corporations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to identify potential tax savings opportunities and provide recommendations to clients.
- Assist with tax planning and strategy development to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes for clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information and ensure timely and accurate completion of tax filings.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive advice to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any tax-related inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- CPA Eligible: Must have completed or be actively pursuing CPA certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in tax preparation and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of individual, business, and corporate tax laws and regulations.
- Proficient in tax software and MS Office Suite, with the ability to quickly learn new software systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of tax planning strategies and experience in providing tax advice is a plus.
- Experience in public accounting or a finance-related role is preferred.
