Job Details
Our client seeks an associate to join its Tax and Private Client practice in the firm’s New York or Washington, D.C. office. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Tax experience. In this role, candidates will work closely with global businesses and high-net-worth individuals across all industries on their most important and complex international tax matters. This includes counseling clients on sophisticated tax planning and advising on transactions.
Our associates receive meaningful, hands-on legal work at every stage of their careers. We are looking for self-starters ready to assume immediate responsibility as an integral part of high performing, collaborative firmwide teams with our lawyers in various offices and remotely, and able to multitask and work with sometimes multiple overlapping projects and deadlines. Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a track record of insightful research and analysis, and persuasive writing abilities. The expected salary for this position is $260,000 - $365,000, depending on experience.
A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution is required. Admission to either the New York or Washington, DC Bar (depending on office location), active and in good standing, is also required.
