Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and international tax matters.
2. Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.
3. Supervise international tax laws and regulations.
4. Oversee the preparation and review of the global tax provision and tax returns.
5. Manage the coordination of accounting for income taxes for international subsidiaries.
6. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.
7. Manage and mentor members of the tax team to greater levels of effectiveness and engagement.
8. Remain up-to-date with changes in federal and state tax law to ensure compliance and maximize efficiency.
9. Conduct research and planning according to applicable tax laws and regulations.
10. Work with senior management to identify and mitigate tax risks and to implement tax planning opportunities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree in Taxation is preferred.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
3. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role.
4. Substantial knowledge of tax compliance, tax planning, tax analysis, and international tax.
5. Experience with global consolidation.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
11. Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.
12. Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
13. Strong background in international tax laws and regulations.
