This is a junior role focused on the detailed accounting and IRS tax allocations required for complex investment partnerships. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys the technical, behind-the-scenes work of tracking partnership books, tax basis, and allocations.

What We’re Looking For
This is a junior role focused on the detailed accounting and IRS tax allocations required for complex investment partnerships. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys the technical, behind-the-scenes work of tracking partnership books, tax basis, and allocations.
Partnership Tax Allocations
- Track 704(b) and 704(c) allocations
- Track book vs. tax realized gains and losses
- Maintain accurate partner-level book and tax basis schedules
Partnership Accounting
- Prepare annual financial statements for investment partnerships
- Reconcile bank accounts and other cash activity
- Record cash and property contributions/distributions
- Maintain accurate financial reports and supporting documentation
- Account for debt investments, passthrough entities, and marketable securities
- Assist with the accounting and analysis of complex investment transactions
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in investment partnership accounting
- Hands-on knowledge of IRS partnership allocation rules (704(b)/704(c))
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
