Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee tax compliance and advisory services for high-net-worth individuals, families, and related entities.
  • Develop and implement customized tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize wealth preservation.
  • Review complex tax returns, including individual, trust, gift, partnership, and S-corporation filings.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors, estate planners, and other professionals to provide comprehensive client solutions.
  • Lead client meetings to discuss tax strategies and provide updates on financial plans.
  • Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and industry trends, advising clients and the team on relevant changes.
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Assist in business development efforts, including client retention and expanding services to existing clients.

Qualifications:

  • CPA license required; advanced degree in Taxation or JD preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on HNWI tax planning and compliance.
  • Proficiency in tax research tools and software, including CCH, Lacerte, or similar.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to client service and a passion for developing long-term relationships.
