We have an immediate opening with our client, a highly respected CPA firm, for a Tax Manager to join their collaborative team. This established practice has built their reputation in the Pacific Northwest on developing long-term client relationships across diverse industries and is affiliated with an international network of accounting professionals.
The incoming Tax Manager will:
We are seeking candidates with an active CPA license and 5+ years of recent tax or audit experience. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required and a public accounting background is preferred, but not required. Interested applicants should have previous experience training, developing, and supervising staff and excellent oral and written communication skills.

The incoming Tax Manager will:
- Develop strategic tax approaches by determining appropriate objectives, scope and methodology
- Cultivate client relationships proactively, with an ability to identify opportunities for additional valuable services
- Take ownership of supervising and successfully completing standard tax return preparation projects.
- Provide guidance/leadership and work collaboratively across all staff levels on concurrent projects
- Train and mentor junior staff
- Have an innate curiosity about ever-evolving tax, and the application to businesses and individuals.
- Stay current with federal, state and local tax law developments.
