Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Manage and review complex federal and state tax returns for partnerships, S-corporations, and high-net-worth individuals
- Oversee the preparation & review of tax returns, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and firm standards
- Provide proactive tax planning strategies to clients
- Supervise and mentor staff and seniors, providing guidance, technical expertise, and performance feedback
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for tax engagements
- Stay current with tax law changes and emerging issues relevant to client industries
- Assist with tax research as needed
Qualifications:
- CPA license required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master’s in Taxation preferred)
- 5+ years of relevant public accounting experience with a strong focus on pass-through entities and high-net-worth individuals
- Experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing multiple client engagements
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to lead teams, manage deadlines, and deliver quality results in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, UltraTax, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
