Well-established and growing public accounting firm in Naperville Illinois. We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to work with our team of CPAs and accountants in a collaborative and enjoyable environment. You will take a lead role on tax engagements and build and maintain relationships with clients. If you choose this path, we will mentor you and help you develop a book of business that will lead to a near term partnership position.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
Review and prepare Individual (Form 1040), Partnership (Form 1065), Corporate (Form 1120 and 1120S) and Trust (Form 1041) Income Tax Returns
Research and draft memorandum involving complex tax matters
Identify and implement tax planning opportunities for clients
Work with staff to develop tax competencies and align on best practices
Present on technical topic(s) for staff training
Requirements:
Commuting distance to our Naperville office. We have a hybrid option with a minimum 3 days required in our office
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Master of Science in Taxation is a plus
Must be a CPA or CPA candidate
4+ years tax experience
Experience with individual, partnership, corporate and trust tax returns
Strong technical skills pertaining to tax preparation and review, tax compliance, agency correspondence and tax research
We maintain a healthy work/life balance. Normal work hours are 40/week with 55 average hours in the 8 week busy season.
