We are on the hunt for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Tax Manager to join our growing team. This exciting role is a hybrid position, allowing the flexibility of working remotely, while also providing opportunities for face-to-face collaboration with our team. You will play a crucial role in our Finance department, overseeing all aspects related to tax planning, compliance, and advisory services. This position is ideal for a driven individual with a strong background in tax law, corporate tax, and individual tax returns.

Job Details

As a Tax Manager, you will:

1. Oversee and manage the preparation and review of corporate and individual tax returns.
2. Develop tax plans and strategies to optimize tax efficiency and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
3. Conduct detailed tax research to stay updated on tax law changes and communicate these changes effectively to the team and clients.
4. Provide tax advisory services to clients, offering expert advice and solutions to complex tax-related issues.
5. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and government authorities, to address tax-related queries and concerns.
6. Prepare and present detailed tax reports to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
7. Train and mentor junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the integration of tax considerations in business decisions.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax management role, preferably within the Finance industry.
3. Profound knowledge of tax law, tax compliance, and tax planning.
4. Proven experience in preparing and reviewing corporate and individual tax returns.
5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret tax data and financial reports.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in simple terms.
7. A high level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
8. Proficiency in tax preparation and research software.
9. Strong leadership skills, with a track record of training and mentoring staff.
