We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Tax Manager or Sr. Manager to join our team in the public accounting. The ideal candidate will have a CPA and 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on Real Estate, Construction, or Affordable Housing. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with a path to partner.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee tax compliance for a portfolio of Real Estate, Construction, and Affordable Housing clients
• Prepare and review complex tax returns, including partnership, corporate, and individual tax returns
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, including identifying tax-saving opportunities and strategies
• Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and training as needed
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our services
• Stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations, and communicate changes and updates to clients and team members
• Assist with business development efforts, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities

Qualifications:

• CPA required
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on Real Estate, Construction, or Affordable Housing
• Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including experience with partnership, corporate, and individual tax returns
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a team of tax professionals
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement tax-saving strategies for clients
• Business development experience is a plus
