Tax Manager (Trust & Estate)

Key Responsibilities:

• Have a comprehensive understanding of tax principles, with a particular depth and enthusiasm for research in gift, estate, and fiduciary income tax areas.
• Can effectively analyze, derive conclusions, and present findings in writing.
• Oversee and compile gift, estate, and fiduciary income tax returns, while also handling individual and business returns.
• Manage and draft fiduciary account summaries for estates and trusts.
• Engage in tax strategy discussions and provide counsel to affluent clients regarding estate and trust requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on trusts and estates.
• Proficient with tax software and technology tools.
• Exceptional client service skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership qualities, communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
