Job Details
Position can be considered fully remote if residing in MST time zone and open to some travel. Must meet all requirements for remote consideration.
Requirements
Nice-to-haves
- Advise ultra-high net worth clients on a full spectrum of tax services including wealth transfer, charitable and retirement planning, and tax compliance
- Manage and oversee the engagement team focused on individual, fiduciary, gift, generation skipping and estate taxation. This includes the planning and execution of client tax engagements
- Collaborate with specialists regarding state and local taxation and international taxation
- Provide leadership, training and career mentorship to staff and supervisor level team members
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and other professional advisors through a commitment to outstanding client service
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field
- CPA license in one's principal place of business/home state, licensed J.D. or enrolled agent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in public accounting with an emphasis on taxation for UHNW and HNW clients. Most recent years should include experience in managing client engagements
- Proficient in individual, fiduciary, and investment partnership taxation, with an understanding of complex investments and the related tax implications and/or estate, gift and generation skipping transfer taxation
- Familiar with multi-state taxation
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
