Unlike traditional accounting firms, we do not have a large individual tax client base, and only serve small businesses and their owners, focusing on the construction, roofing and trades industry throughout most of the US.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Tax Manager to join our dynamic team in the finance industry. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing tax planning and compliance services to a diverse range of clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop customized tax strategies to help them achieve their financial goals. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in individual tax returns, client-facing, and tax planning.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Prepare and review individual tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Conduct tax planning and research to identify opportunities for tax savings and minimize tax liabilities for clients.
• Provide guidance and support to clients on tax-related matters, including tax audits and disputes.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate these changes to clients and team members.
• Manage and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in individual tax returns, client-facing, and tax planning.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including experience with tax research and planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex tax issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and client satisfaction.
• CPA certification preferred, but not required.
