Job Details
Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead their tax reporting, compliance, and planning efforts. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate filing of tax returns, while minimizing liabilities and providing expert tax strategies for future filings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tax and advisory support to private clients to meet their financial objectives.
Accurately prepare federal and state returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws.
Advise clients on tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and other business activities.
Conduct tax research and develop strategies to reduce liabilities.
Mentor and manage staff on projects, providing formal feedback.
Oversee complex tax projects and research for clients in diverse industries.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and CPA certification required.
7+ years of recent public accounting and managerial experience.
Strong technical skills with ProSystem fx Suite and Microsoft Office.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
