Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Manager to join our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in managing the tax functions of our organization and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will be skilled in a variety of tax-related areas including partnerships, trusts, estate, C-Corps, S-Corps, and individual tax management. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, estates, C-Corps, and S-Corps.
2. Manage and coordinate tax audits and tax planning strategies.
3. Ensure compliance with state and federal tax laws and regulations.
4. Develop tax strategies to optimize tax liabilities and ensure that tax policies are in line with the company's objectives.
5. Conduct thorough tax research and keep abreast of changes in tax legislation.
6. Provide leadership and support to junior tax staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages team participation, effective communication, and superior client service.
7. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, improve functionality, and ensure the overall effectiveness of the tax function.
8. Utilize Thomson Reuters and UltraTax software for tax preparation and planning.

Qualifications:

1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax manager role.
3. Proficient in handling tax matters related to partnerships, trusts, estates, C-Corps, S-Corps, and individuals.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state tax codes, regulations, and legislation.
5. Demonstrated experience with tax software, specifically Thomson Reuters and UltraTax.
6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
8. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
