- Strategic tax planning with clients, including quarterly calls and research on specific tax issues
- Accurate filing of federal, state, local taxes
- Ability to work with individual, partnership, and corporate tax clients
- Manage and mentor team of tax accountants
- Stay apprised of changes to tax law and strategize to improve tax position for clients as laws change; mentor younger team members and instruct them on implementing changes based on legislature
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive experience as a Tax Accountant and Tax Manager
- CPA license and Bachelor's Degree required!
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Lacerte, TaxBook, MS Office, and other systems
- Proven track record of managing a team and mentoring Tax Accountants
