Job Responsibilities:
Job Requirements:
- The primary point of contact for a diverse book of client relationships, including managing all tax preparation and strategic planning needs.
- New client onboarding through advisory services delivery, including entity structure and owner compensation planning, identifying and maximizing deductions, and ensuring tax compliance.
- Review of tax returns, including S Corps (1120-S), C Corps (1120), Partnerships (1065), and Individuals (1040).
- Review accounting data prior to tax preparation, including clean-up and adjusting entries and trial balance consolidations.
- Tax research and analysis on varied topics under partner direction.
- Tax planning, projections, and strategy for business and individual clients.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Masters in Tax is a plus!
- CPA or EA certification required
- 4-5+ years of tax experience
- Independent, self-motivated, ability to keep on task without direct oversight
- Excellent time management skills
- Open to instruction and constructive criticism
- Professionalism; Good written and oral communication skills
- Personable; comfortable with direct client interaction and relationship management
- Dependable team player
