Tax Manager

We are a small business that manages multiple vendor and professional relationships and performing business functions that pulled them away from what they do best. Founded in 2009 with the purpose to deliver high quality tax and accounting services to small businesses using an integrated approach. We are currently looking to bring on a fulltime Tax Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire tax process, including planning, compliance, and audit defense.
• Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns and ensure timely submission.
• Research and resolve tax issues, interpret tax regulations, and ensure company's tax compliance.
• Provide internal tax advisory services and support on business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Develop tax strategies to optimize tax liabilities and ensure tax efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Master's degree in Taxation or CPA is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in tax management, tax compliance, and tax advisory.
• Proven experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns is a must.
• Strong knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
