Tax Manager

We are a well established firm, founded in 1983, based in Richmond, VA. Our firm specializes in providing tax, audit, accounting and business advisory services for businesses, individuals, estates, trusts, non-profit organizations, and employee benefit plans. Our diverse client base served includes industries such as professional service firms, government contractors, non-profits, real estate, construction and specialty contractors, and healthcare providers.

We are looking to hire a Tax Manager to join our team!

Essential Functions:

• Partnership, corporate, and individual income tax return preparation and review
• Tax and financial planning and consulting
• Other tax return preparation and review as needed, including sales tax, business license, personal property and payroll tax returns
• Preparation and review of financial statements; primarily compilations and prepared financial statement engagements, with the opportunity to also be involved in audit, review and agreed-upon procedures engagements, if desired
• Supervise, train and mentor staff
• Manage projects, due dates and interact regularly with clients
• Work as part of a service team with the firm principals, job managers and staff
